The last of Oregon before Cali-forn-i-a!!

Here are some shots of the coast....and a couple stories from along the way.

Noah had a rough day when I took this shot.  He got a flat...and then tried to fix it for an hour.  The patches weren't working, and his spare had a slow leak that we couldn't find.  So we kept pumping it up for a while....until that wasn't working any more.  So we threw on my spare tire/tube until we found a shop.

I was having a great time!...but we did get help from...

Mary Jane's Bike service!  What a nice lady, and her dog Charlie was pretty sweet as well!

Noah giving Charlie some love.

The inside of Mary Jane's van...pretty sweet mobile set-up.  Turns out she parks at different spots along the coast where there aren't any bike shops.

Nye Beach has a great bakery...maybe a little over priced but that cinnamon roll was HUGE!

Rogue Brewing just out of Newport...it was massive!

This was just before it turned chilly...you can see the fog bank off in the distance.  That lasted for 3 days.

I try to ride shirtless as often as I can...but when the road is right next to the beach...it's just too windy and too chilly.

This was yesterday, in a small town called Langlois...and this is Huckleberry Cheescake Ice Cream for $1.75.  Best deal of the trip so far...

And then Noah has to outdo me with the 2 scoops for $2.50...

This was the best stretch of the day since we had finally escaped the fog bank and could see for miles!

Our new riding companions.  Looks like we'll be spending the next week together!

Doesn't compare to the Drumheller T-Rex...but it was close.

Well, that's it for Oregon.  Not sure when I'll get to put up some pics of California, maybe a week or so.  Hopefully by then I'll have been through the Avenue of the Giants with some Redwood pics.
